    From here on we were on the road the entire time, and thankfully, it was a great road. Route 132 stretches along the entire length of the St. Lawrence river and gulf in Québec: from its border with New Brunswick in the east, to New York in the west. Where the road hugs the shores of the Gaspé Peninsula, the waters of the wide open gulf are indistinguishable from an ocean.

  3. To the East Coast: Getting to Alma

    It has been in the works for a while: a trip to the eastern provinces on our motorcycle. It was the first time we went on a multi-day trip with a bike and the idea of living for over a week out of a single 55L box was mildly challenging. Pro-tip: it’s easier if you prepare yourself by ditching checked luggage whenever you fly, no matter for how long. Not entirely sure what to expect, we set up an itinerary to visit Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick, Cape Breton (specifically Cabot Trail) in Nova Scotia, followed by Percé and Kamouraska in Québec.
