The final leg of our trip was through Québec and around the Gaspésie peninsula. This province rarely disappoints me.

Cabot Trail was meant to be the highlight of our trip: it’s one of those beautiful twisty coastal roads that are a pleasure to travel by when you just want to enjoy the ride and not get from point A to point B. It has been in the works for a while: a trip to the eastern provinces on our motorcycle. It was the first time we went on a multi-day trip with a bike and the idea of living for over a week out of a single 55L box was mildly challenging. Pro-tip: it’s easier if you prepare yourself by ditching checked luggage whenever you fly, no matter for how long. Not entirely sure what to expect, we set up an itinerary to visit Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick, Cape Breton (specifically Cabot Trail) in Nova Scotia, followed by Percé and Kamouraska in Québec.
